Ridge’s premium leather wallets are made with oil-waxed, full-grain bovine leather from a Leatherworking Group Gold-certified tannery. Like all leather, Ridge leather will develop a patina with time and use. While leather is a very durable material, it does require specific care. Following the suggestions below will ensure that your Ridge leather will look great for years to come.

• Use a soft, dry cloth to gently wipe away dust, dirt, or surface debris from wallets, belts, and keychains.

• For deeper cleaning:

• Apply a small amount of mild leather cleaner or saddle soap to a clean, slightly damp cloth. Gently rub the leather in small circular motions.

• Wipe away any remaining cleaner with a separate clean, damp cloth.

• Allow the leather to air dry naturally, away from direct sunlight or heat sources, which can cause drying or cracking.

If your leather wallet feels too dry, apply a small amount of leather conditioner or cream to a clean cloth. Rub the conditioner into the leather using circular motions, covering the entire surface. Let the conditioner absorb for a few minutes, then buff off any excess with a soft dry cloth.

• Avoid using harsh chemicals, alcohol-based cleaners, or excessive water.

• Leather doesn’t do well with moisture so avoid conditions that would allow water to soak deeply into the leather

• If your wallet gets wet, gently blot with a dry cloth or towel then let air dry at room temperature - do not use a hairdryer, heat source, or place in direct sunlight to dry

• Keep away from sharp objects as they may scratch your leather gear
